Evelyn PARIS

I am a General Partner and co-Founder of Edge.40, an agile venture capital firm that relies on the hands-on expertise of its GPs in order to identify the most promising founders of European dual-use technologies.

Mission-and-results-driven rather than following trends, I have dedicated my entire career to building a more prosperous and resilient Europe. At the European Commission, I worked on combatting hybrid threats and informational warfare, with a particular focus on measures combining digital regulation and strategic communication.

My track record spans international organisations (UN, UNOG), the private sectors (Engie, Amazon), strategy and policy consulting (Altermind) and academia (Sciences Po).

I hold a dual Bachelor degree from Sciences Po and University College London (with a major in Economics and International Relations), a Bachelor of Laws from University Paris II Panthéon-Assas, a Master in European Affairs from Sciences Po and an MBA from INSEAD, where I focused on finance and entrepreneurship.

I bring deep knowledge of European policymaking and regulatory dynamics and a vast pan-European network in the service of our founders, to help them navigate complex institutional environments and scale with confidence.

Fluent in four languages and committed to Europe’s long-term strategic resilience, I combine global perspective with cross-sector insight to champion founders building the technologies that will strengthen our sovereignty, reinforce critical infrastructure, and secure Europe’s competitive edge in the decades ahead.
